Cameroon has entered into an agreement this January 15, 2025 with a Saudi Arabian company to improve the living and praying conditions for Cameroonian Muslim pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land for this year’s Hajj. The contract was signed by Cameroon’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Iya Tijani, and the CEO of Rawaf Mina Company. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister of Territorial Administration, Atanga Nji Paul, on the side lines of the 4th International Conference on Hajj and Umrah. The conference, which convenes Muslim scholars, CEOs, service providers, pilgrimage guides, and state dignitaries, aims to align with the Saudi authorities’ vision of delivering high-quality services for pilgrims. This partnership underscores Cameroon’s commitment to ensuring a more comfortable and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for its Muslim citizens.
